Velvo Privacy Policy

Short version: Velvo collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your TV.

What is stored on your TV

The app keeps the following in its own local storage on the TV:

• Your playlist details:
  • for Xtream, the server address, username and password
  • for M3U, the playlist URL
• Profiles: name and color
• Your preferences: interface language, preferred audio and subtitle language, subtitle style and home screen rows
• Watch progress, My List, and the audio/subtitle choice you made for each series

None of this is sent to the Velvo developers or anyone else.

Where the app connects

Velvo has no server of its own. It only connects to:

1. The server or playlist you entered, and the streams it lists. When you open an MKV file, Velvo downloads the first ~1.5 MB of it from that server to read the list of audio and subtitle tracks.
2. Image addresses provided by your playlist, such as posters and channel logos. These may be hosted by third parties, for example TMDB (image.tmdb.org).
3. The YouTube app. If you press the trailer button, the TV's YouTube app opens with that video.

These services are run by your provider or by third parties, and their own privacy policies apply.

What Velvo does not do

• It has no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking.
• It requires no account and sets no cookies.
• It does not sell, share or receive any personal data.

TV system services

Velvo uses webOS system services on the TV to select subtitle and audio tracks and to open the YouTube app. These requests are handled by the TV itself. LG's own privacy policy covers the TV and its services.

Deleting your data

• Settings → IPTV account → Sign out removes your playlist details.
• Deleting a profile removes that profile's preferences, progress, list and track choices.
• Uninstalling Velvo removes everything it stored.

Children

Velvo is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes and contact

Changes to this policy are published in this repository with a new effective date. Questions can be asked through the project's GitHub issues.

Uygulamanın bağlandığı yerler

Velvo'nun kendine ait bir sunucusu yoktur. Uygulama yalnızca şunlara bağlanır:

1. Girdiğin sunucu ya da liste ve listedeki yayınlar. Bir MKV dosyasını açtığında Velvo, ses ve altyazı kanallarını okumak için dosyanın ilk ~1,5 MB'ını bu sunucudan indirir.
2. Listenin verdiği görsel adresleri (afişler, kanal logoları). Bunlar üçüncü taraf sunucularda olabilir, örneğin TMDB (image.tmdb.org).
3. YouTube uygulaması. Fragman düğmesine basarsan TV'nin YouTube uygulaması o videoyla açılır.

Bu hizmetleri sağlayıcın ya da üçüncü taraflar işletir ve kendi gizlilik politikaları geçerlidir.

Velvo'nun yapmadıkları

• Analiz, hata raporlama, reklam ya da takip yoktur.
• Üyelik gerektirmez ve çerez kullanmaz.
• Hiçbir kişisel veriyi satmaz, paylaşmaz ya da teslim almaz.

TV sistem servisleri

Velvo; altyazı ve ses kanalını seçmek ve YouTube uygulamasını açmak için TV'deki webOS sistem servislerini kullanır. Bu istekleri TV'nin kendisi işler. TV ve servisleri için LG'nin kendi gizlilik politikası geçerlidir.

Verilerini silmek

• Ayarlar → IPTV hesabı → Hesaptan çık, liste bilgilerini siler.
• Bir profili silmek, o profilin tercihlerini, ilerlemesini, listesini ve kanal seçimlerini siler.
• Velvo'yu kaldırmak, uygulamanın sakladığı her şeyi siler.

Çocuklar

Velvo çocuklara yönelik değildir ve kimseden veri toplamaz.

Değişiklikler ve iletişim

Bu politikadaki değişiklikler, yeni bir yürürlük tarihiyle bu depoda yayımlanır. Soruların için projenin GitHub "issues" bölümünü kullanabilirsin.
